Wu-Chi YOUTHYouth Attitude
and Personal Development
This course is designed to support the roles of
both parents and high school teachers in their
endeavour to provide stability and direction for
teenagers during their vital years of growth and
development before they leave high school.

Despite the fact that most martial art
activities are presented as being more desirable
to male youth, we find that a large number of
high school girls use our course as a form of
daily exercise.
Not only does the workout routine challenge
their mind and body, but it also gives them a
greater sense of security by increasing their
ability to defend themselves.
Wu-Chi improves health and well-being, producing
in the students a confident and positive
attitude that builds the determination to
succeed in all their endeavours. The
self-defence skills give them the ability to
manage difficult situations, enabling them to
have more freedom and control in their everyday
lives.
Although most of the male youth are drawn to the
martial art side of this activity, we challenge
their priorities with our strict code of ethics.
It is in this way that we present the value of
those virtues which bring about improved
behaviour and increase self-esteem.

| This course greatly improves a teenager's
ability to relate well with other youth and
authority. It brings about a level of
personal maturity and responsibility that
creates a contented, well-adjusted individual
personality. |
