The Objectives of the Wu-Chi School of Arts
in any given community is to bring together a
large cross-section of a local community:
|
|
| |
|
To achieve this objective we set up local Wu-Chi
clubs that offer a variety of programs to
interest people regardless of their: |
|
- |
Age |
|
- |
Race |
|
- |
Gender |
|
- |
Profession |
|

Social and cultural
backgrounds |
| |
| We consider that this objective is
achieved when the school's membership is
made up of a fair representation of the
diversity of people found within its
local community. |
|
|
 |
| |
Not only do we want those young men who are
leaders amongst bad-boys in our school; but we
also want upright individuals, because we have
proven that good behaviour is highly contagious
in the environments that we construct.

|
Please Note:
By using the principle of interaction in a club
environment, and by having a membership that
parallels the diversity of people found within a
local community, we begin to break down any
alienation that can exist between the different
groups within that particular society. All
this happens within a learning environment that
calls for high levels of self-discipline and
consideration for others, ensuring that only the
positive attributes of mixing together are
brought out.
A prime example of this:
We have had gang members and police training
together in our classes, all joined the school
due to their own desire to learn martial art.
The natural result of them training together,
and helping each other in preparation for their
gradings, etc. builds positive bonds that last
forever. |
